Adam watched from inside the cave as the wolves barred Feather's way. He could see her and she could clearly see him in the dimness of the den. He smiled brightly and waved. Adam was a slightly round boy with a personality as all emcompassing as his appetite, and that was saying alot. He had a relaxed, approachable air about him, and a smile that seemed to come straight from the heart with a rare and honest sincerity. "Oooh she looks angry," he said cheerfully, his smile never wavering. The wolf that had led her to the den blinked and shook itself, silver hackles standing like a sawblade, then relaxing as Tynan left it's mind. "What did you say to her?"

The pile of fur next to him that on second glance turned out to be the alpha female and her litter of puppies and not an old bathroom rug started to move as Tynan gingerly rose from beneath them. Adam wrinkled his nose, evidently some of the puppies hadn't mastered the art of bladder control. Tynan gave him a warning look that clearly communicated the sentiment of 'say a word about it and die'.

"I said lots of things," he said, pulling off his leather coat and leaving it with the female, deciding that the pups had claimed it as theirs in their own unique way. "Lots of which she didn't want to hear."

He stood up and came out of the den, blinking in the sunlight. He stood a head taller than her, and was very clearly human. Around them the wolves paced warily. "Before you say anything," he said quickly, holding his hands up in a placating gesture as he saw rage rising in Feather's eyes. "I am human, yes. I'm a druid also - a convert. So calm down and lets not do anything hasty, I really do want to help you."
